Retrieve your fax and voice messages from any touchtone phone, plus have your email messages and faxes forwarded to you as email attachments.
You may choose to forward both incoming faxes and voice messages automatically to email addresses, or redirect them to other phone numbers.

Venta Fax & Voice (Home version) is a program that puts a fax and answering machine onto your desktop. The program lets you send facsimile messages from any Windows application, by adding a printer driver to your Windows system. Then, when you send any print job to that driver, Venta Fax & Voice will open, allowing you to choose the right parameters to send the document you produced by fax. This program even allows you to send color faxes.
From within the program, you will be able to perform manual and automatic facsimile message reception and transmission, broadcast faxes, schedule the sending of faxes at a given time. The faxes can be sent with a customizable cover page, that can include information about the time it was sent, a logo and a note. You will also able to convert the incoming faxes to PDF documents. The answering machine will pick up the phone, play a recorded message and record the incoming voice messages for you. This tool can recognize if it´s receiving a voice call, a data call or a fax, and will launch the program feature that´s right for the incoming call. You will be able to retrieve your recorded messages remotely, by using DTMF control. Your messages can be saved in several mailboxes, with different passwords.
If your phone has the caller ID service, the program can show you who´s calling on the screen. You can also define a different message for a given number. The program also allows you to record conversations, speak through the microphone and hear through the speakers (hands free), and play back text files using a built-in speech synthesis engine.
Among other features, Vista Fax & Voice send automatic notification of incoming messages by email and can attach faxes and voice messages to emails. |

What's new in version 6.8
- Fixed a bug that resulted in no fax message being generated after scanning if the PDF format was selected for outgoing fax messages.
- When editing a quick search field in the Scheduler or the Phonebook, the Delete key worked incorrectly: instead of deleting a character, it generated a record deletion prompt. Fixed.
- Fixed a bug that resulted in an incorrect operation of the Tall Saver mode. What's new in version 6.6
- Fixed the bug that occured when 'Actions after reception' and 'Actions after transmission' rules were created.
- Printing to the VentaFax “virtual printer” occasionally got blocked. Fixed.
- When creating a "Send email notification" rule in "Actions after transmission", the program could occasionally report a invalid recipient or sender address. Fixed.
- If the VentaFax Engine was started as a Windows service, redialing often didn’t work when the line was busy. Fixed.
- An "Error I/O 103" message could randomly appear in the Logbook. Fixed.
- When new messages arrived, the message counter on the fax display was not refreshed. When the executable module was working as a service, message counters were not refreshed. Fixed.
- Blocked the possibility of accidental installation of the program to the C:\ and C:\Program Files root folder.
- The context menu of the Message Manager "tree" now has a "Locate on disk" item that opens an Explorer window with the selected file.
- The Scheduler now allows you to export task states while exporting selections.
- The Scheduler now allows you to search completed tasks by a date interval.
- You can now delete records selected from phonebooks from the list of recipients when scheduling delivery tasks.
- In some situations, splitting or merging of pages containing recognized text resulted in an error. The issue has been fixed.
- When a fax message containing a cover page was re-sent, information from the "Note" field could disappear. The issue has been fixed.
- When installing the program, you can now specify whether it should create shortcuts for all users (as before) or the current user only.
- Lots of other minor bugs fixed.
- Added the "Action after transmission" option.
- The maximum number of operations with a remote control script command has been increased from 64 to 256. |
